"The owners were very friendly and I was attracted to the property because of the high ratings it was given. It’s not a property that you would drive by and say, I’d like to stay there. However, they’ve put a lot of thought into it and even provide a fire pit and smores kits in the lobby so you could roast marshmallows if you wanted. "We enjoyed our stay. We were in the back building the Walker building (I think) surprisingly quiet and did not hear other quests in hallways or near us. Limited parking when the restaurant is open . But we moved the car closer when it closed. Continental breakfast available at yhe Inn for a charge. We chose a hot meal elsewhere but had a table filled with fruit, muffins hard-boiled eggs and such. The old in is beautiful and you are allowed to use a lot of the public spaces. "I loved our two rooms with bathroom in between for less than $150, and the sweet and simple old fashioned building. The back entryway is really lovely. The thrift shop nearby was also nice. And the train across the street we hope to ride one day."
