Staff were ok, not great communication, asked for breakfast to be served at around 730 am and still was not served when we left at 8:30 as we arranged our daily tours. No mattress protector on beds either which is poor hygiene practice and the beds were very hard , not comfortable at all, we paid for breakfast everyday, breakfast when we did get it was appalling.on flat pancake or scrambled eggs and cold not really toasted bread.asked for another pillow if possible not even provided, ok for short stays not ok for weekly stay

The room was very gross, smelled like mould, pillows had mould on them, doors and walls had mould on them. The door to the pool (we had a pool view room) could only be locked with a stick. It was very secluded, not even a convenient store near by, could only get wifi out by the pool and it was very slow. Overall worst hotel I ever stayed at. But the staff were great, very friendly.

nice hotel with a good pool
We stayed in their family room; which was specious and located right by the pool (most rooms are). Hotel staff is very friendly and attentive round the clock. The restaurant is ok, but food may take time to arrive.. You can order drinks and nibbles by the pool, which was very nice. Breakfast is ok, but do not expect a 5 start open buffet breakfast :). Massage was quite expensive compared to the city. Hotel located a bit outside, but they provide free tuk tuks to the city; it is 10 minute ride. (easy to find another one on the way back and costs only 1-2 USD.) We didn't get tips and guidance on what to do from the hotel, apart from some brochures available at the reception, so we booked our daily tours via agencies at the city center (and what you get is not what they sell)... It would be nice for the hotel to give some advice on good tour operators. All in all, if you do not expect 5 star luxury, this is a good hotel -esp if you are traveling with kids... We enjoyed our stay there -esp the pool..

Calm serenity
Away from city and you need transport to move around. Hotel provides bikes on nominal charge and you can also book the cars depending on your need. Staff is very good and always ready to help. Safe and secure place to stay with family. Be aware of insects as you can't avoid them due to green vicinity.

Honeymoon vacation
It was a very pleasant experience, especially thanks to the staff of Villa. I would recommend it to couples on honeymoon, searching to feel the "real Bali", far from the touristic zone. At the same time, it took us around 15 min with moto to get to Ubud, so you will always find something to do at night at relatively small distance.The staff really pays attention to every detail, plus our villa was always super clean (even if we would leave our villa for just 30 min, it would be perfectly clean upon our arrival... we still don't know how could they be so effective). It is a kind of "naturalistic villa", so be prepared to be hear birds in the morning (and sometimes at night :)). It has some imperfections (internet doesnt work very well, plus in general the surrounding area still has to develop), but in general we spend a really good time there. Moreover, the owner and every person working there will do everything to make your stay more welcomed. We arrived as guest, but left feeling as members of the family. Thank you very much!!
