"I stayed here last night. The roomed looked great at first. When I took a shower the water would not drain, I showered in 2”-3” of water it was disgusting. Then the body wash that’s hung on the wall would not pump. It just a broken body wash hanging on the wall. The final red flag was when the TV glitched and froze. I could not even turn it off until I unplugged it. I had a terrible experience. I stayed in room 208. This was an accesible room, kinda scary when it’s for handicap but the drain...

The worst part of the facility was the breakfast, All items were plentiful and the place was clean but for the 3 days we stayed there, the eggs were cool to cold, as well as the sausage. "Islander Inn reminds me so much of the small, old style Florida hotels from my youth. We rented two rooms for five of us.
The property is well maintained on the exterior. Overall the rooms were pretty clean. Some items did need attention. There was a good amount of dust on the wall behind the bed all the way up to the vaulted ceiling. The drop ceiling in the kitchen was discolored & dirty inside and needed replacing. The pool needs to be cleaned each morning of falling leaves & debris.

In general was very clean but can't hide the age, esp the floors. The screen porch in #11 was unfortunately soggy from the very old AC window unit in the adjoining bedroom. Location is great, on quiet very nice street close to restaurants and the beach. We had no issues parking."
