A lovely place to stay with exceptionally clean rooms, comfy bed and very reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend staying here when travelling around western and central PEI. Great restaurants are close by.

We loved the location.We were just a short drive away from the downtown core.The owner was very helpful and friendly.He marked all the places we asked about on a map and gave excellent directions and recommendations.Our room was very pleasant and clean.Out beds were very comfortable so we had a great sleep.You can tell that the owners take great deal of pride and take excellent care of their property.We had a great stay!

We had a problem with hot water in sink faucet. Otherwise we loved the place, especially the deck attached to our unit.

There is not a thing to say bad about Cairns Motel. All Motels should be like this one is. In all categories it rates a 10. This Motel is perfect in every way, from cleanliness,comfort, newly renovated, to perfect owners. Try it you will like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was by FAR the easiest check in I’ve ever had. It felt like 1983 again. The counter attendant was helpful, friendly and very welcoming. The room was fantastic too. Big bathroom, comfortable beds, everything was immaculate. RUN, don’t walk to book your stay at the Cairns Motel!

The Best
Cairns is always the best motel to stay at for us. We are older and like to be able to park in front of the door to our room. The owners are also the Best and will do whatever to make our stay enjoyable. There are upgrades without the price getting to be too much and for those of us on a budget that is important. So if you are in Summerside PEI stay at Cairns. Location ig Great too!

Perfect location for our travel plans ending here after our Northern Coastal Trip and to start our Central Coastal trip. Very nice place to stay. My only disappointment was that we didn’t stay here longer!

Great place to stay. We were very impressed by the quality of this little motel. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought, time, money and effort towards making this a 5* stay. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

I had a pleasant stay. The staff were all friendly and the rooms were clean. I made use of the laundry facilities and wished for dryers that would allow me to be more selective in how long my clothes dried. A short, second drying cycle shouldn't require another $3.

The owner was very friendly. The rooms had been updated very tastefully. The price was very reasonable compared to other options in the area. The room we had was smaller so would not have been good for a family with small children. Overall a great place to spend a few nights while exploring the Island!

A lovely well maintained property run by owners Aaron and Kendra. Upon turning into the motel you are greeted by a fountain, beautiful flowers and a green space adjacent to the parking lot. The green space has picnic tables and each room has a bench which allows the outdoors to be enjoyed. The rooms are super clean and have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Also, you are made to feel welcome to help yourself to coffee brewed each morning in the reservation desk area. The owners are warm and helpful with directions and suggestions for things to do. Upon Aaron’s recommendation we enjoyed attending a fantastic PEI ceilidh, The Ross Family Ceilidh, which was about a twenty minute drive from the motel. The Cairns Motel is in a great location as it is very close to downtown Summerside and offers easy access to routes to enjoy the highlights of the island. Would stay again at the Cairns Motel in a heartbeat, the creative towel sculptures left atop the bed add a whimsical fun touch!
