The only complaint would be that if you have expensive French champagne on the menu, keep it in the fridge! Especially on NYE. But other than that, this hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in."

"Semplicemente fantastico! Abbiamo soggiornato due notti e questo ryokan ci è piaciuto tantissimo. Avendo effettuato due diverse prenotazioni, abbiamo avuto modo di provare due stanze diverse ed entrambe erano bellissime. La strutture è curata in ogni sua parte nei minimi dettagli. All'arrivo vi verranno date delle ciabatte da utilizzare negli ambienti comuni. Grazie a delle mollettine numerate è possibile distinguere le proprie ciabatte, così da non scambiarle con quelle degli altri...

"My stay at Yatsusankan was so amazing. The surrounding town I was quiet in the winter but is full of culture, beauty, and good food. The grounds of the inn itself are serene and beautiful. The baths were so relaxing and extra peaceful thanks to their two outdoor baths. The staff is so kind and service was wonderful at all times. We had to check out early to get back to Tokyo, and the staff provided us with an early breakfast so that we wouldn’t leave hungry. I hope to return again one day. "
