"Great area to stay in. Mount Pleasant is a 10 min to Daniels Island (tennis tournament), 15 to ocean and 10 min to Charleston. It was a 10 min drive to Shem Creek, love the restaurants in that area. "We have stayed at this Best Western location many times over the last 5 or 6 years, but this was our worst experience. The rooms were mostly clean. The breakfast was mostly fine. The staff was mostly friendly. The pool was not clean - as in, we couldn't swim in it - and we came during spring break. My biggest issue was with the person at the front desk when we checked in. "It was the perfect location to hop on a 7:15 am flight home. Front desk was friendly and helpful and accommodating with a couple of baseball teams staying in same hotel. Shuttle was right on time and great service."
