"The room was outstanding with shades dark enough to keep all light out. The staff reached out to make sure everything was going well. Very quiet at night for sleeping. No complaints."

"The room was okay, nothing fancy, but for the price I thought it should have been better. One staff member was not pleasant at all. She just was not nice like I am used to to South Carolinians being. I lived in Charleston for several years and this is not what it was like before. This was not my first time staying on the Isle of Palms either. I thought I reserved an ocean view, but the view as only a partial view, that was disappointing as well. The place was clean, just not as nice as I thought...

"Initially, we chose this property for the location because it is so central to all of the attractions everything is walkable and all the great shopping on King Street is just around the corner. We were very happy to find it was such a wonderful property. Certainly provided for all of our necessities and then some. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. "The breakfast and service was very good! Our room needed a clothing hook repaired and the walk in shower floor was cracked. Other than those things needing some maintenance attention, everything else was just fine. It was a very convenient location for us. I would stay again."

"We stayed on the beach club side which was wonderful. Room was great. Very clean room and hotel. Wonderful view. The disappoinment was the only breakfast option was buffet and was $25 a person. Dinner, the food and drink all great however they are under staffed therefore slow service. The people working there really had to hustle. It did have an outside bar and pool side service, though a very limited menu during the week. The people working there were exceptional I have to say."

"The hotel is in an excellent location to MUSC, West Ashley, and James Island. Our room had a beautiful view back toward MUSC and the city. The desk agents were friendly and helpful. While the rooms have been updated there needs to be better maintenance given the older nature of the property. I would stay at this property again but I hope they’ll invest in maintenance a bit more."
