"The self-contained villas are remotely located- I had no idea it was that far at the time of booking. The villas are located further away from the pool and beach. I had requested to be moved to the rooms that were closer to the pool and restaurant- took some time but the staff managed to accommodate my request. Luckily I had no plans to cook and was able to give the villa up for rooms only. Something to consider when booking the villas with cooking facilities."

"Lai was a great host and looked after us well. He cooked lovely dinners and told us about the local walks and even played the guitar for us. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming in the river and patting the cat. Just note that during our visit the wifi wasn’t working and we found the bed uncomfortable. Also, take cash to pay for your meals."

You could easily consume 6x the cost of the all inclusive add-on with two meals a day and drinks. You should know it'll cost $450 FJD each way for two people to get on scheduled hotel boat from Vuda marina to island. "The staff were attentative listened and interested in getting to know us. We were greeted with enthusiasm rooms clean comfortable for a reminiscent stay. The Tonoa had a relaxing pleasant vibe. Will be returning in our next visit."
