we had one night where air conditioner was not working, and so many instructions on leaving the cottage, we are both 90yrs old Nina and David were most obliging in answering our questions and we thank them sincerely.

S.V.C is a wonderful hidden gem & we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for Easter! We stayed in "The Stockman" Cottage. The Cottages are beautiful, immaculately clean, cosy & there isn't a thing the owners haven't thought about when it comes to making sure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay. I really loved the bbq on the verandah, it was perfect for breakfasts if you prefer to self cater. The property itself is well maintained, very peaceful with nothing but bird songs, so perfect to escape the city noise. Plenty of things to do and see if you have a car. Thank you Nina for giving us the most wonderful stay in your beautiful paradise.

We had a lovely weekend here for my birthday. Would have been nice to have comfortable chairs on verandah. ☹️Also the railings on stairs should go down to bottom steps for us oldies. The dog treats are a lovely addition. Great place to stay.

Was looking for a couple of quiet days in nice surroundings. This property was perfect with the nice pool and our little puppy was most welcome. We will be going back soon !

Cottages with everything you need and ideal for fo

The reception and communication were both very good. The hosts were helpful and did their best to ensure that we were comfortable . Despite having some difficulties with electricity we were ok . The location is excellent and close to all essential amenities. Parking is good and most importantly for us we could have our pet with us. A clean , safe peaceful cottage.

We enjoyed being away from anything and anyone, but were close enough to amenities if and when needed. Loved the greenery outside our cottage and the choice of breakfast brought to us, bonus!

I highly recommend this place it's unfortunate that lack of communication between the hotel expideia and I ruined my trip. I have stayed here before loved it which is why I came back. The room and surroundings were still great but I was charged $150. Still waiting a reply from hotel or Expedia to what's going on, then woken up and told to leave when I still had an hour before check out.

Very comfortable, beautiful garden, well appointed cottage, pleasant owner: Bar BQ was not properly cleaned, spider webs behind bedside drawers and front veranda needed a good clean. Slat broken on bed base which was a little uncomfortable. Just requires some TLC.

The property owner took money from credit card prior to our arrival, and it states on Wotif that the credit card is for security only not payment. As I wanted to pay cash not credit. 1 person on site for about an hour then nobody except the dog was on the property. Needed a spatula to cook breakfast but nobody around to ask or borrow one from.
