The room is a good size and a good layout and very clean. Great views. Great spot in cotton tree with lots of food places. Very friendly and helpful management. Would recommend

Very well located position with great scenic views

The level 5 unit had uninterrupted views across the inland water ways, the sea and the hills to the north. The unit was clean and functional however it is in need of maintenance....finishes knocked about, cracks appearing between tiles & benchtops, skirtings and walls and tiles broken in shower floor to name a few. Invite of these defects we had an enjoyable stay.

Well positioned apartment with water views

Was a well positioned apartment with water views. A lovely balcony to sit on. Has all the bits and pieces you need in the apartment. Surrounded by many eating places and not far to a major shopping centre if you need. Lovely little community at cotton tree. Markets in the streets on a weekend. Just a lovely relaxing stay. The staff were a little grumpy - it's an apartment complex not a hotel so it's a site manager. But we didn't see them much after check in so all good. Will be going back there.

Great location, great views

Easy to deal with, friendly. Pleasant rooms, but fittings getting a bit tired, and worn. 1 towel per person, for eight days, so had to wash or pay for more. No instructions for using dishwasher, washing machine etc. good sized fridge, great undercover parking. Shade blind fell down in living room, reported, but not fixed before we left. Cupboard door off bottom hinge when we arrived. However, the unit absolutely suited our needs, for 3 generations sharing, one of whom was recovering from major surgery. Easy access. Lovely walking, flat, beach, river and parks. Would stay there again, and would now be better prepared for restrictions.

Very quiet and peaceful with wonderful views

I book the room on behalf of 2 Egyptians from the desert, they were overwhelmed with the views, the river, the beach, the peace, quiet and tranquility, the air and the cultural freedom of the people of Cotton Tree.

Short stay at the Dunes

We were contacted to advise that our room was ready around lunch time on our arrival day, a few hours before check in time at 2 pm. Great !. The manager made us welcome and handed over the keys. Apartment was bright, airy, clean and tidy, really well laid out and furnished. The bedroom and ensuite appeared to be as comfortable ,unfortunately the windows were locked and the curtains had to be closed for privacy--hence inadequate ventilation and no fresh air in that area. All the fan did was recycle the same air. This was very disappointing and frankly somewhat claustrophobic. Since we only spent two nights we had to accept the situation.

Good lcation

Overall a good place but a couple of put offs the bedroom Curtains were not black out and as there was lights outside in hall way they shined through making it hard for us to sleep it was way too light in bedroom. Overall a good place if owners changed the curtains

Excellent apartment in a very good location. Ideal for families with kids. Highly recommend and would be glad to stay their again.

Great proximity. Beautiful views.

Loved the accommodation however cleanliness of room let it down. Blinds had very rarely been cleaned and cills were extremely grubby. Unit very spacious. Would go back with kids next time.

Great location & facilities

Work trip, so my requirements were all met; comfy bed, proper shower (not a tub combo), free wifi & kitchen appliances. As a bonus, the location was great; close to shops & as a runner the path along the beach to mooloolaba is ideal.

Great location - Big Apartments

The Dunes Cotton Tree is a lovely apartment block just across the road from the Holiday Park. We stayed here as we were celebrating a friends 40th who was camping across the road. The 2 bedroom apartments were very spacious with lovely big balconies. Secure parking and helpful, friendly staff.
