I immediately contacted the property to ask whether they could help me in any way given the mistake, and the answer was effectively "no." It was my mistake, so that's fine, but as a short-term rental owner myself, I make every effort to help guests out when something goes wrong, even if by their own fault. There was no such effort here, so I won't be rebooking here; I'll find another place to book for the correct dates."
