"Travelling as a lone businessman. I picked this hotel for location, and a couple of the amenities. Upon arrival I noticed a lot of elderly people. I first entered the barrier, I was given my room key and advised where to park. I was unsure on where to find my room once inside the hotel. The lobby was full of elderly people listening to piano music. It was very hot in the reception area due to the central heating that seemed to be on full.
Majority of the staff (not all) did not seem that happy or even that happy to help. The nice girl at the entrance to spa was friendly and so was the lad who served my dinner.
The gym equipment was modern and fairly plentiful, although the room itself is not the biggest. Some of the equipment hadn’t been cleaned properly so I had black dirt all over my hands,
My bedroom smelt of a very unpleasant rose perfume or bleach. Although the deluxe was a good size, the bedroom decor lacked character. There was also not desk for me to sit at to work.
The EV charger in the car park was simple to use. You will need to bring your own cable though.
I used the restaurant on the evening. As said previous, the young lad who served me was a nice guy. He took my beer away as it was undrinkable. Another waiter pretty much threw my starter at me. Lacked any sort of humour when I commented on how quickly it had arrived. Within 2 minutes of ordering!
The following morning I got up to catch a flight from Heathrow T5. I was at the airport within 7 minutes."
