Despite calling the hotel manager for directions a day before checking in, the receptionist was totally unaware of my reservation. "A good choice for Victoria Island, but still not in a nice neighbourhood. Take care in the area and make use of Uber or get your own driver. Transportation is pretty sketchy these days. Suggest booking a hotel car airport pick up. Taxis and Uber are a nightmare. "
