"Staff friendly and efficient. No bathroom light as broken/bulb gone. Unable to change the radiator temperature in room so was too hot to sleep. Mug had been used and biscuits open and half eaten. It did look like the other clean mug and biscuits so assume the cleaner not checked. However there was a good amount of tea and coffee left if id have felt ok to use the mugs. Everything else is as expected for the standard of hotel"

"Absolutely beautiful building and grounds, room was huge and clean, staff were all so friendly. Very peaceful. Shops only a short walk away. Will definitely be staying again, myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn’t make use of the bar as we don’t drink but upon walking past it looked clean, cosy and a few friendly people enjoying a drink"

"The best of the best service in an amazing place, everything taken care of. Valet parking top class, met by name and greeted with details of your stay. Every member of staff knew who you were from room to room, but never over-pestered. What a place."

"Unfortunately there was a large amount of building work going on and out room directly overlook the building work so no view whatsoever ever. Asked about a room change and the duty manager said there was nothing available didn’t offer any alternatives and didn’t ask if we would like to upgrade at a cost to ourselves. "

"Plenty of parking, room good, bathroom good and breakfast good. Not enough tables in the dining room for breakfast "
