I did not give a 5 star rating this time because of a few minor issues, other than these small things we had a great stay. These are the small issues: 1.The bathroom had a shower/bath so you have to stand in a bathtub to take a shower. Getting out of the bath with a toe with gout was a hectic experience because the bath is naturally slippery. For a 5 star hotel ?. 2, The grouting between the tiles and bath and taps had mould or dirt in it. 3. The ceiling fan was not balanced so made a noise. 4. The wood mesh on the window was broken and had a hole through it, was never fixed. These are small things because overall the hotel is wonderful. I think that Movenpick in Jordan need to rethink a few things. When i arrived at Movenpick Aqaba at around 9am after flying 24hours without sleeping they charged me 90JOD for early checkin. They knew i had to pay otherwise sit in the lobby with my suitcases sleeping in a chair till 3pm when i can officially check in. I was staying for 3 weeks and they would not allow early check in. When i checked into InterContinental today in Amman at 10am I was not asked to pay extra, rather, they upgraded me to the top floor and access to the InterContinental Club.
