"The motel is an older building that looks recently renovated. It was very clean and cute with new furniture and simple decor. The staff was extremely friendly and Jasmine gave us great info on the bus system to get to the ski resort. Check in and out was also very easy. Housekeeping did a wonderful job and we always came back to a spotless and freshly cleaned room. The location is perfect and right in town. "I cannot say enough good things about AWOL Stowe! I was visiting Stowe (and Vermont) for the first time for a short birthday trip. I stayed in the "1 King Bed Cabin" and it was SO dreamy - a little individual hotel room that was so cozy. It was nice to not share walls with neighbors, while also still feeling safe as there is plenty of people around. The staff also left a wonderful little carepackage in my room with birthday wishes. And the lobby of the hotel was exceptionally cozy and aesthetic....

"Close to the bus stop for skiing. Walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, though daily housekeeping require more attention and frequent visits. During our 4 day stay, the housekeeper came to make beds only once. There was no trash pick up, vacuum or towel change."
