Good location and hotel for our overnight stopover on the way to North Devon. The room was spacious and twin beds very comfortable. The bathroom was small but functional. Unfortunately the shower was poor very low water pressure and temperature control was difficult. Not enough tea bags and milk in the room for two people, 1 bag each. Yes you can go to reception and get more but should be at least 4 tea bags and enough milk for two people to have two hot drinks each in my opinion. The decor and carpets in the public areas look a bit tired. The hotel has a small indoor pool and gym which we didn’t use but looked pretty good.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular were so helpful especially because they located my husband’s wallet he had misplaced. Locals often could be found in the bar/dining area. The only issue was related to having rooms that were dated. We had a disabled room and were concerned that there were no electric power points next to the bed. To recharge mobiles etc was difficult. We would return if we had the opportunity.

Lovely 3 night stay. Staff all very polite and helpful. Room was clean bathroom is rather small but was ok for a short break. Breakfast was great so many choices and not always the same every morning. Thank you :)
