Run down. It was probably once a nice place, it’s dirty the carpets were worn out. The room we had, had no hot water. It wasn’t pleasant at all, so we ended up staying at a local friends house instead!

Parking was very easy Staff were delightful and helpful The hotel was very quiet with it being out of season so the menu choice in the restaurant was very limited but what we had was good and value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order again because of the limited number of guests. We will definitely return.

Hotel is looking very Tired and run down. Looks like the gym has had a refurb which is great but the rest of the hotel and rooms are in desperate need of renovations. Food was ok but over priced.

The hotel was tired and is in need of some updating. General areas were not as clean as we would have liked although the rooms were on the whole acceptable. TV didn't work, cob webs around the windows but the bed and bathroom areas were OK The area around the swimming pool had broken and raised tiles and the ladies changing room had no shower facilities We didn't eat at the hotel and we didn't see anyone else eating there either I hope the hotel is due for some modernisation as the setting is lovely and views out over the golf club could be a real asset I can't see us booking to stay again

Room was unclean. dead insects on the walls, a damp smell. window broken allowing more insects in. After an hour of killing bugs and blocking the window, I was still bitten several times during the night.

Needs a decent upgrade as rooms are looking a bit shabby. Only stayed for one night but was a comfy bed. Food in the restaurant is ok but quite pricey for what it is. Lovely surroundings and area. Pretty good value for money for bed and breakfast.

Should be better than it sadly is

Could/ should be a top place to stay. Sadly, it is tired with the owners paying minimal attention to the place. The staff made it fab, but the lack of food choices in the restaurant and the cheaper ingredients etc were disappointing. Pool lovely, not always heated. There seems to be a catch 22 of not providing a high standard so it lost favour or it lost favour and dropped its expenditure. This should be 4/5 star. The door says 3 star, but currently more a 2 star

Disappointing

Check in was fine! Rooms are basic! Bar service was really poor. The guy on check in was also serving on the bar with wait times of 30 mins sometimes. The restaurant was the same waiting 40 mins for a starter even though it wasnt busy maybe six people in there. The staff where good but expected to do too much.

Easy access to all our destinations but the hotel was excellent staff absolutely great and helpful and extremely polite on my next visit to cotswolds and Swindon i know we will be staying there again

Nous avons dormi avec une compagnie de moustiques. Des ongles humains sont coincés dans le rail de la fenetre... la poubelle n’était pas vidée... mais qui fait le menage ? Certainement une belle bande de dégueulasses. La tv et la télécommande ne fonctionnaient pas. Forcément le câble de l’antenne est trop court pour se raccorder. Comment avez-vous pu louer ce taudis ? C’est de l'escroquerie en bande organisée.
