"The hotel is so picturesque and cute. Even though the room was small, by gosh, the view from the window was worth the stay. It’s basically, a view of the famous mountains and looking down to the city of Interlaken . The outside appears like an old log cabin. The interior is decorated the same. Shower was strong and the room was clean. We had to open the windows for cool refreshing air and we were able to sleep soundly at night. No Noise. We took the bus from the train station and walked a few...

"Our room was in the basement in a building next to the main hotel. Room was on the small side but had a good layout. Check in was a bit confusing as main hotel entry where you check in is one street level above room access and not directly connected. Breakfast was great and staff were nice and helpful. Good central location with easy access to all of Zermatt which is very walkable (but watch out for small electric taxis everywhere who do not care about pedestrians)."

"I appreciated the helpful staff, with excellent English for those of us who don’t speak German. Also, the always available coffee was great for my pre-dawn bird watching (which was excellent in the garden). It’s a little bit out of easy walking to places like the train station, and beware that Uber availability is poor in Lucerne."
