The staff at checkin were great offering to store the luggage until checkin time which was two hours earlier than advertised. Accomodation is clean and well maintained. Room was clean and well stocked. Very quiet, no noise. Bed was a bit soft but that is a personal choice. Will most certainly stay again. Location is perfect for China Town, Darling Harbour, Central Station and trams.

This hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Central Station and the light rail just out front. There is a huge choice of eateries all around as well as great shopping in Market City. The room was very comfortable, It is not huge but had everything you could want including a mini fridge, big TV, Iron, free WiFi and comfy firm bed. This is a great value hotel that is worthy of consideration.

Budget accommodation right by Central Station. (Just walk down to George St past the light rail stop.) Dining room needs to be much larger. Perhaps some of the under-utilised buffet breakfast area could be adapted to take more tables.

We enjoyed our stay at Great Southern. The property is in an excellent location and an easy walk to Central Station. We enjoyed some excellent Asian food during our stay and also appreciated the shopping opportunities nearby.

A very pleasant and clean room just perfect for one or two people. One block from Central Station with the tram going past the door, to take you into Circular Quay and the centre of town. Hotel has a dining room and a bar for a quiet drink after a busy day.
