It’s an old building, and we were aware of this. It was super well-located, and the staff were friendly, even allowing us to check in early. Our room was kind of renovated, but the bathroom was not super clean and was too old. The bathtub curtain could be replaced more often; the one made of fabric was a bit dingy. Considering that Sydney was one of the most expensive lodging places of our trip, it was a reasonable price. The hotel photos were better than in person, though.

The people in reception were delightful in every way. They were helpful with any information we required. Our room was neat, tidy and clean. It had every thing we needed. The roof top garden was a hidden gem.

Fabulous for small families, beautiful rooms

Very easy walk to King's Cross Station, Harris Farm Markets two doors away, lane full of cafes just behind hotel, parking available nearby at a reasonable (for Sydney) rate and lovely friendly staff. Our room was carpeted with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower over bath. We loved it and will be back.

My stay at Regent Court was great, they provided an excellent customer service and were diligent when needed. They really made sure that my family and I enjoyed our stay. It was very close to shops and transport which is very useful. I recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Sydney.

Staff was friendly, cleaning crew was thorough. Location was convenient to the kings cross station. It was a great stay. The only slight problem we encountered was the elevator not working 100% of the time.

Everything was at your fingertips, restaurants , cafes , grocery stores and public transport . The staff were so helpful and approachable always wanting to know if everything was to our standard. Just beautiful. Oh and the roof top has a beautiful calming atmosphere, will definitely return.

Large room and good kitchen. In The Cross with buzzing atmosphere. Close to transport. A wonderful old elevator. Parking available $30 per day no limit on in and out. Friendly staff. Yes it's old and has had a refit at some time, but it has character and a bargain at the price. Now my favourite hotel in Sydney.

We had an excellent stay. Clean, large room, we stayed in premium studio apartment . Comfy bed. Bathroom quite small but clean. Location excellent near cafes restaurants and bars, and short stroll to Kings Cross station. Did hear pedestrian noise, but not bothered by this, as to be expected in this vibrant location. Would highly recommend and will stay next time. Check in easy and did get early checking on arrival. Too easy!

Unique hotel with some minor issues

It was a unique place to stay, it had an old charm about it but a few small flaws. The bed was uncomfortable, the toilet seat was broken. The rooms were outdated and there was no coffee pod machine as per the photos. The location was great, very close to the city and it was a very short walk to the station. Some nice cafes in the area. Friendly staff.

The property is convenient to public transport, and the buzzing Kings Cross, the downside is it noisy and the lower floors are affected by the bright street lighting as the blinds don’t provide total blockout or privacy from adjacent buildings. Darlinghurst and the Sydney CBD are within an easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious with usual amenities for an Apartment Hotel.

Great location. Clean. Our room had a sunny aspect and great view. Easy check in. Parking was close and easy. Only problem we had was there was obviously a leak in the roof above our bathroom. Any time it was raining water was dripping/running from the ceiling above the toilet. Luckily it was in the bathroom and dropped onto the tile floor and into the floor waste. This didn’t ruin our stay but wasn’t ideal.

Wrong first impression - Highly recommend

We arrived late and was a bit confused as there was no hotel sign and the key was left in a lockbox, which was a challenge by itself to open. We rescued another visitor who was clueless about how to get in. Since we were visitors we didn't know what to expect and were not sure about the neighborhood. A couple of loud guys who passed us made us worried more. The hotel was going through remodeling so was a little dusty near the entrance. We complained and were offered a refund even though the booking was non-refundable. We decided to stay and we are glad we did. The next day we found the neighborhood very charming with great restaurants and markets nearby and short walk from metro. The room had everything we needed and was tastefully furnished. Only weakness was the water pressure. The elevator is antique but we learned to like it. Great bang for the buck. We will be back.
