"The property itself is beautiful, what I didn't appreciate is the two security guards in the foyer wearing security vests implying the area was very unsafe and then when I asked them for directions to the sports arena I needed to attend, which was only 1.2km walking distance, they told me it was too far and I wouldn't make it there safely, so I opted to drive the 3 minutes. Their words rang true as the following evening on the channel 9 news there was a report of a woman pushing her pram being...

"Stayed in a serviced apartment room. Spacious apartment. Close to Chinatown, close to various Asian foods. Easy walk to central station, or light rail. Despite being just off George Street it wasn't too noisy. Staff were good. Swimming pool was great and gym was ok. "

"We enjoyed everything about our stay! Friendly staff and easy check in. The room was perfect for a short stay and had everything we needed. The little ‘grab and go’ breakfast buffet was a nice touch! We drove and found a parking building a 5 min walk down the road - $16 for 24h. We would stay again!"

"I love the 11.00am late check out that they didn’t charge me for the rooms are spacious clean and I literally didn’t even hear any noise from 1 other room nor outside even though I had a street facing room with balcony, also the reception staff were absolutely terrible so professional caring considerate and non judgmental which is not always the case at other places."

We arrived by taxi from the airport and it cost $60, we were a little but disappointed that one staff member booked a taxi for our return to the airport (it was a guy he knew) and it cost $115. I think we got ripped off big time. The female staff members at the Rydges were so helpful. Showing us maps etc and giving tips on where to go. Thanks girls! "

"This place was amazing. Reasonable price and excellent facilities. All the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view, kitchen even a washer and dryer. If you are going to Sydney and need to be near Circular Quay, this is the place to stay."

"Hi, We enjoyed our stay and appreciated an upgrade to room 1403, however the bathroom ceiling has mould where the ceiling meets the mirror wall. Also the bathroom floor has a continuous slow water leak, possible from under the tiles."
