Great place to stay, very clean and room was beautiful. Very convenient as zoo pass was included. Honestly found it hard to check in and get pass and hard to find our room but other than that would definitely stay again!

Incredible stay to rest and refresh for our first few days in Sydney after a long flight from vancouver. The koala dining right outside our hotel window was the best but after that I can’t choose. The views of the city the sanctuary tour and the night tour of the connecting zoo all were just perfect. The staff were so welcoming and made our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Wonderful experience! The room included a short tour to their animal sanctuary. We went for a night walk through the zoo with one of the keepers, that is offered to the guests. Our room overlooked the kangaroo area, so early the next morning, we watched the keep feed the kangaroos from our room. Great drinks and a beautiful balcony that shows the whole Sydney skyline and harbor bridge, to enjoy those drinks and watch the sunset. Breakfast was included and the restaurant has great views of Sydney. Really nice breakfast! We entered the zoo for free the next day and we were the first ones in, which allowed us some private time to watch the animals before the crowds arrived. Overall great experience!

Fantastic area to stay staff great Was not happy with room overlooking animals we actually overlooked one tree that was visited by 1 koala for a total of one minute during the 24 hour we were there

The retreat is right in the Toranga Zoo, yet private enough to subdue the din of the zoo. The architecture is beautiful surpassed only by the views across Sydney Harbor. Zoo access and private tours are included. Great breakfast buffet every morning in the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and helpful every step of the way. Just a short ferry ride into the Rocks area of Sydney.

This is such a unique, beautiful and inspiring retreat. The facility, koalas, wallabies, and other animals are enough to make for a once in a life time experience but the quality of the staff make it even better. The staff exude a genuine passion and joy towards the care of the animals and guests. If you are thinking about staying at Taronga, just book it!!! You can’t go wrong.

Whomever came up with the concept of placing a wildlife retreat in the middle of a zoo was a genius!! This property alone is stunning, and the amenities were like a 5 star resort. But nothing topped the 2yr old koala names Sky who hung in his favorite eucalyptus tree just outside our patio! We literally sat for hours watching him nibble and sleep. Ask for room 241 and you’ll get the show of a lifetime. We will only stay there from now on whenever we’re in Sydney. Oh - and don’t forget to use the water ferry if you want to head into the city. There is a dock specifically for zoo visitors. So convenient.

The facility was amazing, from the second you walk in the lounge area you’re blown away by the views of the harbor, downtown and the opera house. The rooms are exceptionally nice and having by a koala outside your room is such a cool touch. The staff was so accommodating as well. Definitely will be coming back here

Das Hotel ist hervorragend. Die Aussicht auf die Koalas alleine ist schon das Geld wert. Das Zimmer war super ausgestattet und das riesige Bett sehr gemütlich. Leider war das Service Personal nicht annähernd so gut. Das Personal in der Lounge (Kaffeebar) als auch beim Frühstück war sehr unfreundlich. Das passt leider nicht zum ansonsten sehr guten Bild und Image des Hotels. Ansonsten aber absolut spitze.

Easy access in and out to the zoo. Excellent breakfast buffet, Nice dinner menu at the hotel resort, but limited for kids. Some guests used Uber eats to satisfy the picky eaters.(kids) excellent hotel staff went above and beyond. fantastic views from the restaurant level of Sydney Harbor. Nice sunset views of the skyline. all around excellent stay no issues. Just watch out for the cobwebs in the outer hallways.

Booked the animal view room and it was totally worth it!!! saw a very active koala just outside my window. Zoo tour was also really lovely. You can't hold or touch any animals but you can get very close to them. The ferry to cross the harbour is also right next to the zoo, very convenient to get into the city

最高の時間を過ごせて、ここに泊まって本当に本当に良かったです！ シドニーの滞在時間からここに泊まるかブルーマウンテンに行くために市街に泊まるかの２択でしたが動物が大好きなのでこちらを選びました。 ブルーマウンテンには行けませんでしたが、ここにして良かったと心から思いました。 アニマルビュールームに泊まりました。動物は放し飼いなので必ず見えるわけではなさそうですが、幸運なことに部屋からコアラが見えました。活動的でとても可愛かったです。サンクチュアリツアーでは庭にいる動物の知識を色々と教えてもらえて楽しかったです。 部屋は清潔で洗練されていて、快適で、朝食もすごく美味しくてメニュー豊富で、これまで泊まったホテルの中で1番素敵なホテルだったと思います。 スタッフさんも親切でした。 ありがとう。

This hotel was definitely one of the major highlights from my trip to Sydney. Hotel facilities, amenities, cleanliness, staff and food. Everything was simply outstanding! You won’t find a better view of Sydney’s skyline than this hotel, all while enjoying the sunset from the hotel lounge. The rate also includes breakfast and access to the zoo.

Get the animal viewing room! This non profit property is built around an animal sanctuary where the Australian native animals freely roam the area - you can see them from your window! Truly once in a lifetime. There’s also an included tour that lets you inside the sanctuary as well. We also loved how we had our own private entrance to the zoo. The property is so luxurious with the most beautiful view of Sydney’s CBD. There’s also a secret night tour of the zoo after hours that you can book - highly recommend!
