"Room and bed were alright. Check in was self done. Staff barely acknowledged us. We were put on the ground floor which was close to a function room that had a live band playing. We were not told about this or given an option if we didn’t want to be near the room. When I went to ask about it I was ignored by the bar staff for about 5 minutes until I butted in. "My bathroom had not been cleaned properly there was literally 100’s of pubic hairs in the shower and outside of it. I was moved to another room but the floor in the bathroom looked very dirty. I think it is due to the type of tile, they need to look at different cleaning products. Having access to the gym was wonderful. The restaurant was about to get an upgrade so I look forward to seeing that. Meal was OK."

"We had to check out after being in the room for an hour - my daughter's allergies flared up so badly due to dust and dirt in the room. We were charged the full amount of our stay - we had booked for a 4-night stay - and we accepted that we would be penalised for 1 night. However, they still charged us for the entire stay. The rooms are terribly tired; the carpets have not been cleaned, and the surfaces are very greasy and poorly cleaned. Proceed with caution..."

"The room I was allocated had aircon and a fan but I didn't want either of those at the time so tried to open the window and found that it could not be held open. There was no where to hang clothes - cupboard, no hooks. Bed was good. The door could not be closed without slamming it which wasn't good for guests in other rooms. I went to the shared bathroom and found myself paddling in water in the area where one is supposed undress and dress. It seems that the shower is leaking because there was...

"I needed a hotel overnight in relatively close driving distance to Homebush. The staff at Gladius welcomed me. The room was clean and spacious, with a kitchenette, KS bed and heaps of wardrobe space. Everything was clean and modernised, and even though it's on the corner of a main road, it was quiet. I would happily stay there again in future."
