I am extremely grateful to the staff for being so accommodating and understanding of my late check-in. They were receptive in communication through the Expedia app. The room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable; nicely decorated and air conditioned. Hot breakfast was included with my booking and was well balanced. I recommend not missing out by sleeping in late. If breakfast is not enough, there is also a café on the ground floor that seemed promising- though I did not get a chance to try before checking out. Overall I had a pleasant one night stay.

Clean rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, good dinner options on-site as well as coffee and cheesecake restaurant there in the lobby. Super friendly staff too. Will be back.

A beautiful little hotel. For breakfast, they made better-than-average eggs and the French Toast was awesome! Small but good buffet. They keep your water glasses full - a big plus in my book.

Very convenient, we stayed in one of the suites and it was lovely for two nights. The fifth floor Leaf Lounge was an excellent Thai restaurant, and morning breakfasts were very good.

The hotel was modern and clean. Both restaurants were very good. Ruth at the front desk was very helpful and Chester made an excellent cafe mocha. We did not care for the restroom. The only place to hang your towel was inside the shower, no hooks, nowhere to place toiletries, no counter space around the sink.

Other than the unannounced construction that’s causing a bit of noise in the morning, had a good time staying in this hotel. Staff are helpful, room is great. I had a spacious and pleasantly decorated one.

Great modern hotel in downtown Tacloban. Probably more on the business traveler friendly spectrum. We still really enjoyed the hotel is so clean and modern. Fantastic breakfast. The staff are world class service. Few hotels are at this level. Do not miss out on experiencing this place

Not one thing bad could I say about this place. My only go to when I’m tacloban. I am currently in a luxury hotel in Manila for the week and it doesn’t even come close to the way I feel when at the ironwood.

I love this place and have stayed there numerous times in the last 3 years when I am in Tacloban. I will not book anywhere else. Of course I know every experience is different depending on the person but, I know every time I am there I am treated with smiles and respect. They even greet me by my first name and also ask about my family when I am not traveling with them.

A surprise to find a lovely hotel there. There was a Valentines dinner with a large buffet an a free cocktail. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was fine. Strong hot water. The breakfast was filipino with your choice of eggs. 5th floor bat and snscks great
