"Room was not totally clean as pull out sofa was very dirty under the cushions. Pool area needs updating as well as the furniture as cloth cushions do not dry properly in a humid environment "

"The daytime host was very friendly and helpful. The evening person could have been more friendly. I had an issue with the shower faucet and the morning person was able to resolve it right away. The breakfast would be better if boiled eggs or cheese or some type of protein were available but otherwise was fine."

"We stayed in the Penthouse and it was awesome, no complaints. Just be aware there are 49 stairs to climb to get there, so be prepared. The penthouse and view were incredible and so were the staff."

"Old dirty they gave us the wrong room and when i asked to get the correct room they twll me they are full but they lied the parking lot was mostly empty . The bed was hard the coffee pot didnt wirk no heater . And im disabled with my service dog and they put me in a room that had steep stars and i almost fell . Also only one burner works on the stove . I wont be coming back . I ended up getting another room at the seahorse much better and only $15 more . I will never go back the ester lee ever !"

"The property and hotel were great overall, and we enjoyed our stay. However, our experience with the front desk during the night shift was frustrating. The staff member training a new employee was not very helpful and gave us incorrect information. We have stayed before and have always been able to split payments between cards or put one of the rooms under a different name and card. That night, we were told this was not possible and were not allowed to split the payment. The next morning, we asked again and were told that it was in fact possible. They even offered to split the reservation as we had originally requested. It was disappointing that the information we received the night before was incorrect, especially while someone was being trained. Overall, the property itself was great, but clearer and more consistent communication from staff would have made the experience much smoother coming in so late (9 pm). "
