Top Tahoe City Hotel Reviews
Basecamp Tahoe City
8/10 Good
"This motel is very conveniently located. Our only issue was the lighting was minimal especially in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was excellent."
The Inn at Boatworks
10/10 Excellent
"Updated interior, clean, quiet, a bunch of free parking and it's close to everything. Don't pass it up!"
The Cottage Inn
8/10 Good
"The property is lovely, charming and well located, and staff helpful and friendly. Access to the private beach across the road is nice, and breakfast brought to the room everyday is very convenient. The room itself and amenities were somewhat lacking. Only only nightstand and no outlets for charging cellphones, etc. made things difficult - in 2026 everyone needs places to charge devices. Our bathroom was tiny (could not fully sit on toilet with door closed). Ok for short travelers like us, but it would be difficult for others. Luckily we had hanging toiletry bags bc sink/vanity are tiny. Ours was a small room with no dresser, making it crowded with multiple suitcases. With only one suitcase it would be ok. We would definitely stay again, but would choose a different room - or pack less ;)."
Granlibakken Tahoe
8/10 Good
"Almost perfect...I was 90 degrees when we got there and only then that we found out the entire building doesn't have AC. Not because it wasn't working, but it was never equipped with one. Having to carry all of our stuff using the stairs since there were no elevators was fine too. That AC is a must!"
