Renowned for its exceptional Syrah wines, this charming Rhône Valley town invites you to taste at local vineyards and riverside cellars. Explore the medieval streets before dining at Marc Chapoutier's restaurant, where local chefs transform seasonal ingredients from nearby markets.
The location of the hotel is very good for exploring the Tain L'Hermitage region just across the bridge on the other side of the Rhone. From here you can walk around the hill of Hermitage and visit the wineries.
The hotel is in a grand building, stylistically refurbished and has a fantastic view from the outdoor swimming pool. The staff are young, enthusiastic and professional and the host was excellent in making suggestions for local restaurants and wine shops.
I would recommend this hotel.

We stopped here while travelling down to cote d'azur. It would also be a great base to explore Lyon region. Hotel just off A7 with good size comfortabke room and well equiped bathroom both spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly making you instantly feel at home. Small pool area and terrace unexpected bonus. Located in quiet residential area. Around a 10 minutes walk into town centre along banks of Rhone where there is a good selection of restaurants. Secure car park another bonus. Hotel had...

The concept is novel and well executed. We were staying as part of a cycling tour down the Via Rhona, for which the location is perfect, with bespoke secure bike storage. The town is beautiful with lots of great restaurants, but I suggest you book ahead of time as they all get busy.
The one big challenge we had was checking in. Having booked via Hotels.com we were sent links to complete profiles for all guests. This was a pain, because we had cycled all day and desperately wanted to get...

Location is great, in reach of both Tain l'hermitage just by crossing the bridge and Tournon. Walls are very thin and we could hear the neighbours talking till about 2am. Bathroom is on the small side.

Exactly as advertised, for a budget hotel it has everything you need. It offers breakfast but has no onsite restaurant though there are a couple just 5 min walk away.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and keep a very clean and tidy hotel. Just a 25 min walk into the city centre, I would highly recommend this hotel.
