The staff was friendly but did have a standoff-ish vibe that make it uncomfortable when I was asking for recommendations as they only seemed to have pushed their hotel's restaurant when asking for local pubs nearby. "Mentions "noise" due to on-site club. Didn't mention crash barriers erected every night of the week due to large crowds attending "rave" type venue. Room on 2nd floor and so loud that vibrations could be felt, not just through floor, but in the bed! At 2am, the volume is ramped up even louder. I live 1 street away from street full of bars with outside speakers, so I am used to noise - but this was off the scale. Only noisy place in the street, so other hotels nearby are likely fine. Impossible...
