"There are numerous important historic sites in counties Louth and Meath (e.g. Trim Castle and Monasterboice) that are well worth a visit. Nevertheless, the attraction and destination were Cabra Castle Hotel. We were not disappointed. The Castle is impressive inside and out during the day and at night, it is truly spectacular. "Ghan House was certainly a highlight of our trip, what a delightful house and accommodation. Staff were very welcoming, breakfast was impeccable and the room itself was spacious with a lovely view of the garden and mountain, and with a very comfortable bed.
