During my stay, trash was not picked up and towels were not exchanged. In fact, whenever I needed fresh towels or additional toilet paper, I had to go to the front desk and get them myself. "Kevin went above and beyond for my family when we were there for our daughter’s high school graduation! Made sure I always had a parking spot for my truck. Definitely recommend staying at the Cheshire. Definitely a different experience."

"Certainly a different kind of experience. Location was convenient, but getting luggage to and from car was a bit challenging. Outdoor garden area was relaxing when the music wasn't blaring. Coffee and water in the lounge was lovely. Very interesting toilet!!! It was definitely easy to hear the folks in rooms above us walking around. The combination closet, refrigerator and coffee service was unusual to say the least."

"Even with a little issue on my end, the staff was willing to fix and work it out with me. Super helpful. The only thing I didn't like was it seems like there was either testing on the fire alarm or something was one with one of them as the alarm kept going off. Once through the night, twice in the morning. Was really the only "problem" per say."

"Room and entire hotel was clean a well kept. The breakfast was very good and the evening “snacks” were much better than expected! Hotel was very full with families as it was the first or second week or summer vacations from school but the staff kept everything stocked, swept, mopped and moving while being very polite to everyone. Local shopping and amenities were very close and overall a very convenient location for the west end of St Louis. Highly recommend!"

"The Property is full of old world charm and very well maintained with all the major amenities provided. The manager was extremely informative regarding dining, entertainment and tourist options. Location is very close to theatre district but be prepared to travel a bit further to if you want multiple dining options. Property has dedicated street parking but can get busy on Fri and Sat nights due to theatre traffic, however, the manager was very helpful in reserving or securing spots for us so no...

As a very early riser, I was able to get a cup of coffee and bring back to my room. I also appreciated the organic half and half that was supplied! Dan & Rosie were very welcoming! "The hotel was beautiful in a great location , the complaints I had during our stay include the air kept turning off sounding like an old man coughing. I also used the hotel blow dryer and it caught on fire on me , my husband had to go to service desk for another ."
