Don’t expect modern sanitised luxury, but if you want a place you’ll remember there can’t be many better. Maria on front desk a perfect host, we will be back, thank you!"

"The check-in process was a bit ludicrous lacking front desk (reception) staff that had to be coordinated for every move, even to pick up and drop off our car. The shower in our room not only barely had water coming out but there was "limited" hot water to shower with during the winter months (December), that for a medium hair length woman, not enough hot water to wash the hair. Gabriella, the housekeeping lady was the one thing we enjoyed about our stay. "

"This was a great hotel with the perfect location. Breakfast was delicious and the view was a great start to the day. Bathrooms are a bit small, but otherwise no complaints. We also had a balcony facing the water which gave us additional opportunities to enjoy the beauty of of this cliff city!"

"You stay there because of the view and central location. Huge price tab of a Ritz or Four Seasons without the customer service.... Staff is not terribly helpful at times. We asked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign for bedroom several times. Crickets. We asked to change a large Euro bill. Crickets. We asked for a late checkout for one of our several rooms. Nope. But the view is stunning!"

"It’s a small little boutique hotel with about six or eight rooms on two floors. They are super nice and super well appointed with everything you need and a nearby grocery store and a laundromat which came in very very handy. There’s also a rooftop bar adjacent to the property, which has the best views in the city and good drinks at a reasonable price. Then it’s a short 3 minute walk downhill to the main drag where all the shops and people are. It’s obviously uphill back to the hotel but nothing...

"Sulla via principale di Taormina, insiste il relais 147. Aperto il portone, ci si trova all’interno di uno splendido giardino che prevede una palazzina deliziosa di tre piani. L’ambiente interno è molto ben arredato e la struttura è davvero bella. La camera e i servizi non sono all’altezza della struttura. Il personale è molto gentile, premuroso e preparato. La colazione è la nota dolente: buffet dolce e salato con prodotti da discount. Le torte e i cornetti sono di bassa qualità, lo stesso...
