"Definitely an old motel with patchy upgrade jobs to make it seem upgraded. Our first room smelled so bad like cigarettes and mold we had to switch to another room. We won’t be staying again to say the least."

"This building & hotel is 200 yrs old which makes it fun and interesting. Definitely an earlier era shows up here. Rather fun. However, if you’re looking for a fancy & new, bright, shiny hotel this isn’t it. The rooms are small but adequate, and clean; but a bit dated and could be upgraded even within the old theme. The hotel was very quiet; but the typical AC/fridge noise required some ear plugs. There are no meals served; but, it’s very easy to get food in Taos! The front desk staff was very...
