"No kitchen just a microwave on a small bench in a small nook! No sink. Room is a dark box with no window to speak of, just a tiny window that you leave the blind down as another window looks straight in to yours. Small fridge with no light and an overly frozen icebox. TV doesn’t work after 1 minute it’s freezes and remote does not function. You have to turn off from the wall and on again and select your Chanel out of 3 before it freezes again,forget Netflix or YouTube. I suffer from flicker...

"The property presents as historic and elegant. The gardens, maintained by host Peter, are immaculate. Several espaliered apple trees still have fruit on them, in winter. We were greeted by Peter and Georgia, who had asked about our arrival time so they might bake fresh bread (which indeed they did). Both were warm, informal and happy to chat for a few minutes. As promised they gave us some information about local attractions and eateries. The property offers several beautifully furnished suites....

"This property was amazing. The views were spectacular. The kitchen had a good few staples but the coffee machine was a welcome bonus. The only thing I could find fault with was, there weren't enough hooks for coats near the front door. But please choose this place to stay in Strahan "

"Very nice studio room - had everything one could need in a compact and comfortable space. Very nice water view and walkable for persons with reasonable ability/fitness. Otherwise very short drive to any part of Strahan. Host was very prompt in communication. Check-in and out was all incredibly easy. Be aware that studio is a carport away from multi bed cottage, and any movement of that guest’s vehicle is very noticeable. "
