The hotel was in the perfect location…a 15-minute walk from the train station and a two-minute walk from the town square. The hotel was very clean and quiet. "It was pouring rain when we arrived which was a bit challenging due to some street construction nearby. The staff member offered me an umbrella and even stood in a parking spot right out front for us so I didn't have to! Staff gave us recommendations for dining which we used and enjoyed an incredible meal in a 9th century building. The rooms were outstanding, and touches like having artifacts under plexiglass in the floor was unique. All around fabulous stay. "

"Arrived on the biggest festival day of the year but staff was great and helped us navigate the crazy parking situation as the city gates were closed making their normal lot unavailable. Room was small as expected but perfectly located near everything. Breakfast was very good and lots of room for the packed house. Ate at the hotel restaurant which was very good as well. Great value and spotlessly clean. "
