"Good food! However, the rooms are dark and damp. And be aware that the AC and all electricity is turned off at 11:00 a.m. and doesn’t go back on until 4:00 p.m. So the hottest part of the day is without AC. "

We loved the infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well. The staff are so friendly and helpful, consistently going out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Until you are able to interact with Fijians, you truly don’t know how friendly people can be. Special thanks to Pini, Storm, Millie, Raymond and the whole crew at TIR. Thanks to living legend Ric (the owner) as well who we spent every breakfast with hearing stories about Taveuni and his efforts to promote diving and conservation in Fiji. "

"Bure was great, staff and owners are great and go extra step to make sure everything is going well. Super wonderful stay and the lovely people really make this place shine. I've stayed here in the past several times with previous owners and it was wonderful then and its has not drop off at all. Loved the room, loved the restaurant and chef was very able to adopt to my allergy requirements. Food was excellent. Birds in the morning, stars at night, waves all the time. Fantastic. Can't wait to come back!"

"Mere and the whole team were super helpful, friendly and made it a very nice place to stay. The food is excellent with views of the sunset and the ocean. Very easy access to the beach where you can snorkel, grab a coffee or some more food. Recommend using their local knowledge to book excursions such as scuba diving or trips around the island. Look forward to returning one day!"

"Staff very helpful. Non intrusive. Bures(cottages) very private and very well kept up and very romantic. Great food. Attentive wait staff Small venue. So it’s very private feeling. Amazing opportunities to snorkel very close by. Not on the best beach for a swim but can have a private experience on a private beautiful beach to yourselves 5 min boat ride away. Pool area well maintained. Tables at mealtime well spaced so can have own conversations. Opportunities to do some fun excursions. "

The staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly and the setting is spectacular and the rooms themselves are comfortable but they need new beds we had a hard time sleeping on the old metal box spring together waking each other up every time we moved It would be 100% great if they got new beds "
