"This was a nice place to stay in the middle of town (short 3-5 minutes to almost anything—so many great restaurants and cafes). The hotel has a lot of character, The room was nice, but definitely on the smaller side. Our room had a great view of the river and the center of town. Breakfast was free and was delicious. Parking is free but about 2 blocks away in a busy public lot on the river (away from town). Both times I parked I somehow snagged the last space there. There is another free lot not...

"The property was as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred not to pay a cash deposit though for the wifi router- as you do not get this back until you leave. As I am UK the 20 Euro at end not so useful. The surrounds pool and location is wonderful. Such easy access to the beach via walk or train. The beach is breathtaking along with view of the Ria Formasa. I will return. The local staff friendly. I was made to feel welcome."

"This is a nice hotel with lovely swimming pool, reasonably sized rooms and yummy buffet breakfast. There’s dinner buffet on three nights too at €29 pp bit with lots to choose so good value. There’s even a little boat to take you to the beach. The only ‘watch out’ is that there’s music all the time and lots of children entertainment. Unfortunately our room was close to the restaurant, which was good as my wife can’t walk far, but they did not tell us that there’s music etc every evening till...

"Stayed here twice and can’t recommend it enough..the staff are so friendly, plenty of parking, spotlessly clean..lots of choice at breakfast and the swimming pool area is lovely nice seating and loungers..you can now buy wine/beer from reception and we sat in the garden with friends one evening the staff couldn’t do enough for us..we will return it’s a great area to explore."

"Arrived checked in with no problems and shown to our room , which was a triple deluxe room. Lovely comfy beds-even the sofa bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was very spacious and towels changed daily, we had to squish a few ants but I guess you can expect that in Portugal. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I especially liked the small plates- stops people taking huge potions and wasting lots! The dining room was lovely- not so ‘canteen like’. Highlight at breakfast was the pastel...
