"I love staying at Maison Verte; it's one of the most beautiful spaces I have stayed in during my many visits to Morocco. Each room is stunningly decorated; the pillows, linens, and towels are clean and high quality. There is heat at air conditioning in every room, and hot water in the bathrooms. The riad is quite easy to locate and is in a quiet area. It's easy to get to the Fes medina from the riad as it is very centrally located. "The address is incorrect on the map as “Riad Batha” does not exist. This place on the map is actually titled “Palais Batha” so it was a mission to locate the true address of the hotel, along with the sign and entrance being very obscure down an unnoticeable alleyway. Left a bad taste of the city of Fes in my mouth walking around in circles for a Riad Batha that did not exist, while getting scammed by locals trying to “help” me find the hotel. Very good air conditioning unit though."

"Not easy to find, as it is right in the medina, down a narrow lane. But the owner has a market stall at the corner, and all the locals are eager to help you navigate. Incredible location in the beating heart of Fes...yet because it is down the lane, the house itself is very quiet!"
