We especially enjoyed the historical touches that highlighted the building’s past—they added so much character and made the stay feel special. "The house was great, and the views were beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious enough, and there was plenty of hang-out space, where we could all hang out together or have the kids in one space and the grown-ups in a different space. The only negative is the parking situation... parking is not right next to the house, but by a neighboring house on the property, in a shared driveway. Parking is limited to 3 cars for this property. The guests in the other house on the property parked WAY more than 3 cars, used our assigned parking spots, and blocked our 3 cars in overnight. (Avantstay concierges were very responsive and did attempt to resolve the situation several times, but the other guests just didn't care.)"
