"When we arrived at the apartment and called the host he said there was an issue with the current apartment and there was another that he was going to send us to. I had read a previous review with the same situation and it just felt like it was a scam.we didn't feel safe going to another location.the host wasn't willing to work with us to help us get a refund. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at Barceló San Salvador! I had a wonderful stay at the Barceló San Salvador. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and located in a great area with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The rooms were comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and every member of the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Leonardo, Nelson, and Cristóbal, who are truly the best bellmen! From the moment I arrived until our departure, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were always friendly, professional, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. Their outstanding customer service, warm personalities, and willingness to assist made me feel like valued guests. Employees like Leonardo, Nelson, and Cristóbal are a tremendous asset to the hotel and are a big reason we will gladly return. Thank you all for making our visit to El Salvador so enjoyable. I highly recommend Barceló San Salvador to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality and outstanding service!"

"The right place to rest, with immaculate cleanliness, spacious and well-furnished villas. varied and well prepared food options. Loved resting with only the sound of nature and sea. Nice both, the salt water pool and the endless pool. Very friendly and kind staff. I would have liked to stay longer."

"The location is phenomenal. I would stay here again just for the beautiful views and spacious rooms with patio. However, there was no hot water in our rooms and when I inquired the staff instructed me to play with the electrical panel breakers in the room closets. The water never heated despite following their instructions. The TVs didn’t work which we wanted to use since everything shuts down at 8pm and you’re trapped on site without comfortable common areas to hang out after dinner. Also, the food in the restaurant is not very good and the service during breakfast the morning we checked out was pretty awful. It took 45mins to get our basic breakfast after ordering even though we were the only ones in the restaurant."
