"Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "We stayed at the Maseria Santa Lucia for several days. Our room was entirely built with tuff stone and very stylishly furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was very plentiful, coffee variations were served according to our wishes, and the selection of cakes was fantastic. The Maseria has a pool and a spa. Unfortunately, the spa can only be used privately for 1.5 hours for a fee of €100."
