"Beautiful & clean property! Kind & polite staff! Excellent rooms! Wonderful walking trails. Very good food at Catalina Cafe & Bashi! Nice gym. Pools were crowded and noisy. 21 and over pool had extremely loud music Saturday afternoon… we couldn’t hold a conversation. Pool by gym was quiet and relaxing but isn’t included with stay. Apparently it is only for spa treatment clientele… without an accessible beach it may be hard to find a quiet place to swim unless you opt for a spa treatment."

"Room was very clean and remodeled. Bed was nice but the pillows were tiny, would have liked regular sized pillows. Staff was very helpful. Liked that there are vending machines on-site. Ice machine was a little far from our room but that is ok. Pool was nice. Great location, it only took us like 2 minutes to get to the beach on our bikes. Lot's of restaurants and stores within walking distance."

"I was warned that this hotel wasn't in the best area, but I thought, "how bad can it be...it's a Double Tree". It was definitely an adventure getting there, but upon arrival, the outside and entrance of the property seemed clean and just like any other Double Tree...if not a little older. "The iron in the room was broken and I believe you have an ant issue I traveled with three young daughters the ants in hotel room when we got there and kinda got worse the next couple days especially in the closest. Pool was great and breakfast was okay it’s free so can’t complain."

"Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations due to several maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the room. Upon arrival, I noticed multiple walls that had clearly been repaired with spackle, but the repairs were never properly finished. The patched areas had not been sanded smooth or painted over, giving the room an unfinished and poorly maintained appearance. Cleanliness was also a concern. The comforter appeared dirty near the top edge where it comes into contact with your face....
