"Pretty farmhouse with a great pool and nice views. Staff speaks mostly Italian, we communicated mostly using google translate. During the day the farmhouse is very quiet, but in the evening after 2230 they organise wedding parties which can be vey loud and take until 0230AM. Not ideal if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep. Breakfast was very nice with all sorts of nice cakes. Reception was closed when arrived, nobody was available to check us in. "Pulling up to Tenuta Contessa was like a dream. It was a quiet time with very few guests when we stayed. The pool area was lovely but the showstopper was the food and the chef, Pietro. He was personable and made us family style meals according to what we wanted. Very accommodating. The views here are also spectacular surrounding the entire property. "
