"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. "From the outside we were concerned because outside looked a little run down. The inside was lovely. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. It was an easy walk about 10-15 mins to downtown Galway. "
