"Located in a nice area of downtown, with a bar, restaurant, and a parking garage right next door (or valet!) The rooms were clean, spacious, had a stand-alone desk and couch. The dinner and breakfast were really good too, and friendly staff! Will stay here again! "

"What a wonderful experience staying at the University Place Hotel. It was great to relax at the hotel after spending the day at OHSU. It is so conveniently located. Then, the next morning it was time for the amazing, complimentary breakfast. What a variety of delicious foods to choose from, including waffles, which is always a treat when away from home. It was also just a short drive to the Southwest Water Front area and back. I will without a doubt stay here again when in the area."

"The hotel staff were all wonderful and accommodating. Everyone was friendly and kind and made our stay infinitely better. I'd definitely reccomend to others. The surrounding area wasn't the best, as my brother and I noticed people yelling/doing drugs in the park across the street, but they mostly kept to themselves and posed no threat or nuisance to us. All in all, I'd say it's one of the better Portland hotels I'd stayed in"
