"This was the perfect spot for our week of rest and relaxation following my recent retirement. They told us it had been recently renovated, and remodeled and the place was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious, clean and very up-to-date. Lots of lighting and plenty of plugs for all our gadgets. The property was beautifully laid out to create a perfect oasis located right on the beach. Large family pool and also a large adult relaxation pool with hot tub that made for the perfect place for us to unwind. Bike rentals, organized activities, and lots of spaces for impromptu chill time. The restaurants and bars are perfectly placed to compliment the spaces. There’s even one along the walking trails leading out to the beach. It appeared to have a large function space as well as a beautiful outdoor pavilion for those looking to host an event. We feel that the listing and the photos didn’t do the place justice. We rented bikes and they gave us a map of the trails and where to head to for shopping and some lunch - and you can even ride along the beach when the tide is lower. We rented a car as we spent three previous days in Savannah. Plenty of free on site parking very close to the building. Any request we made of the staff was carried out quickly and cheerfully, Poolside servers during the day. All in all we had a sensational week and barely had any reason to leave other than to try other restaurants on the island."
