"The hotel is neat, clean, up to date, and surprisingly quiet for the location. The continental breakfast is pretty light weight. Toast, little muffins, toaster waffles, and cereal. There’s a juice and coffee machine."

"It was our first time in The Hudson Valley and we choose Hutton Brickyards. We were very content with our choice. There were activities we partook in and overall just a beautiful place. We loved our King Cabin and were so content with the space. They were very attentive to answering all our questions and quick."
New Paltz Way Hotel

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at New Paltz Way! The property is beautiful, aesthetic, and calming. I actually plan to create content highlighting my experience. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed, and after a 1.5-hour drive, I arrived around 8:30 PM. Because of my late arrival, I felt I missed out on a proper introduction to the property and don’t recall checkout time mentioned . My biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of communication surrounding checkout. Apparently, the checkout time was included in an email, but while on vacation, I wasn’t actively checking my inbox. I genuinely thought I was checking out on time (12). No one mentioned that I was late or that an additional fee would apply. After checking out, I asked for a coffee to go (I’d only had one during my stay) and was told no because I’d already checked out, which felt odd considering I’d literally just checked out seconds before. In hindsight, I think it was related to my late checkout. It wasn’t until I checked my credit card that I discovered a $90 “option” charge, which wasn’t disclosed or even told to me at checkout like “Hey! We’re charging you because you’re late.” I understand hotels have policies, but a simple, friendly heads-up would have made all the difference. My frustration isn’t with the policy itself, but the lack of transparency. It made me feel uncomfortable because it makes me seem irresponsible. It’s unfortunate because I enjoyed, but this awkward ending left a sour impression"

"Josh was super helpful at Check-in. Very accommodating and super polite. The property was heavily used by semi-permanent guests and needed a bit of cleaning. I was there to close out a storage unit, so the accommodation was very adequate with close proximity to good eateries and downtown Kingston. My room was quiet and had everything I needed. All good."
