"Every staff was so friendly and helpful. One night when we were there, we encountered a rare black fox eating our left over at night. A staff came immediately and told us about the back story of this particular animal. Not only that but this staff helpful educated us about it and even direct us to a beautiful view of the night stars and Venus. Staffs at the club house were all so friendly and helpful and just a great pleasure to even have a small chat with them. Great stay. Amazing staffs. Just...

"It was nice and new, large room and clean. We ate dinner at the bar. Ordered the steak it was terrible and got the carrot appetizer the bartender raved about, it was terrible as well. Breakfast was very good and the staff was welcoming. Not much around the hotel for other dinning or entertainment options. You’d have to drive."

"There was maintenance being performed on casino electrical system so the bars and all but one restaurant were closed for business 45 minutes wait to be seated for dinner Also Alder hotel charged additional 25 dollars per night to use casino, which was not explained when reservation were made "

"Great location, easy short walking distance to several popular restaurants. We walked to a sports restaurant/bar and had no worries about DUI or taxis. Staff was very friendly, room was quiet and clean. This is our third or fourth annual trip here for the Rhinebeck car show. Hotel is a very short drive to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Reasonable rates and free coffee & breakfast. "
