"The photos of this property lead you to believe that it's nice, updated, and well maintained. This hotel is beyond filthy, smells terrible, and most of the staff were rude. The pool was filled with paint chips and floating piles of hair. The first floor smelled of smoke and animals. There was a smear of what looked like blood on our bathroom wall. The floors in our room were covered in hair, dust, and old food. The people sitting in their cars smoking were creepy, to the point where we didn't...

"We arrived early to a reunion from 5 hour drive and couldn't get in early the room wasn't ready .. the door to the room wouldn't lock the rugs were dirty looking and everything was old .. went to the bar looked dirty and only a few people in it .. the bartender was very nice and friendly.. probably only one! Spent 297. For a night never go back"

"If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great."

"Upon arriving early, I was met with a friendly host who was kind enough to let me check in. He explained the amenities and let me know about the complimentary breakfast. There are two elevators- and it was was easy to find our room. It was a very functional suite with a kitchen/living room and pull out couch.
