"Dirty, terrible neighborhood, walls and floors are digusting. I can’t believe a 5-year old hotel can be so won down. The front desk person at check-in was very pleasant. I booked this due to a cancellation for a connecting flight- expedia listed it as having a shuttle. No shuttle. This cost is almost $100 round trip to get to and from the airport. Just pay another $100 and stay somewhere that isn’t a dump. The morning front desk guy sat there when there was no coffee in the dispenser, trash...

"I found this hotel to be better for my tastes and needs than another one I was in the night before. However, they advertise "free breakfast," but all they had was coffee and tea, and a microwave. All in all, I would stay there again. Staff were kind and friendly."

"Starlight Hotel is relatively close to LaGuardia. It is also next to a mall. The closest subway station is within half a mile. These were the reasons for opting to say at this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception desk had someone 24X7. It is also in a relatively quiet area of Flushing and within walkable distance to several chinese restaurants. There is no parking on site, but paid parking at the mall within walking distance."
