"We loved this short stay with our extended family. Very well equipped and something for everyone, young and old. Very clean, loads of space and lots of facilities. Loved the enclosed paddock area for the dog and some good walks nearby. The outdoor seating areas are excellent. It would have been good to know in advance that there wasn't a cafetiere in the kitchen or shower gel in the bathrooms especially as the place was so well stocked but this is a simple update of the property details. ...

"Staff super friendly. Room was bigger than imagined and spotless. We were above a lounge with a self service honesty bar, which the kids loved pretending they were bar staff and customers!! Breakfast delicious and cooked to request and Daniel the host provided our daughter with a hot Chocolate for breakfast she requested, even though it wasn’t on the menu. A delightful experience and we will 100% be returning in the future!!"

"We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. "Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "

"A beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!...
